This is how I imagine things were arranged after that first meeting from talking to Mat and a couple of the others some years later.
John left the room with the minister and they walked up to the minister's house and sat down to dinner with Joan, the minister's wife. “How did it all go?'' She enquired as they started their meal. “Not too bad, ” replied the minister, “what do you think, John?” “Yes, I must admit it wasn’t too bad considering the circumstances sir.” “What do you mean?” asked Joan. “well, in the States this sort of correction is a lot more organized and a routine is well established over there.” “Do you think we need to do something along those lines, John?” asked the minister. “That would be up to you Sir, you're in charge and I can only make recommendations and advice you drawing from my experience with my uncle.” “Well what would you recommend?” asked Joan as the minister pushed his empty plate to one side and reached over to the sideboard for a pen and paper. “Firstly, we should adopt similar rules and form a committee and make proper arrangements in the school room, rather than rely on the items that are available there, but I realise there are monetary constraints, so we could adapt some of the furniture that you already have.” “I like that John, '' said Joan, “by what you have told me, maybe I could help along with Mathew in doing some of the rearranging and we know that Mathew is pretty good at the practical side and the minister and yourself could make all the clerical arrangements and organize some form of committee. We already have the Church Helpers who are trusted and am sure would be willing to pull their weight." "Excellent, ” said John, "with your permission, minister I’ll draw up a plan of the things required, I know you have your hands full with your duties and I would be only too pleased to take on some of the responsibility.” “Good man, I knew I would be able to rely on you John. As soon as you formulate a plan, Joan and myself will see what is needed and I will approach the Helpers and see who has the time and is willing to help.” “That's settled then '' Said John, rather pleased with the prospect of repeating the night's events and orchestrating the proceedings in the manner of his choosing. Joan cleared the table and shortly after, John left for home and spent the next few hours writing down his plan, anxious to put it into action and have it ready for the next Friday. He dug out the literature that his uncle had given him, read through it with mounting excitement at the prospect of establishing a similar organization here in his home church. The next morning, he rose early and set off to the ministers and entering the house he was greeted by Mathew who led him through into the kitchen where they sat at the table with a cup of coffee and John took his notes out and spread them out on the surface and started to read the list of materials he reckoned that would need to improve the facilities and more replicate the American model. Mathew could hardly mask his enthusiasm at the prospect of seeing the girl presented to him in such a manner yet again. “I tell you what John, there's lots of stuff in the garage left over from our jumble sales and improvements to the property over the years, why don’t we go out and you can see if there is anything of use.” ”Good idea Mathew, might as well make a start now” as he picked up his mug and the two of them went out the back door and across the yard to the large dilapidated garage. Mathew swung the door open and reached for the light switch as John scanned the piles of items stacked against and hanging from the walls. Walking further in examining the items on one side he reached up and pulled down a solid looking wooden chair, laying on its side on the top of an old freezer and stood it upright. It had a thick flat seat and a very high upright back with some sort of plaque set into the solid wood. “What's this Mat, ” and Mathew brushed the seat off, saying, “I think it used to be at the front of the church and used by the Bishop when he payed us a visit before we had the new one that is up there now.” It’s certainly solid” said John, “nice with this very straight high back, I think that may be better than the one we used last night. The minister said while we had dinner last night, that his back was aching from having to hold her legs like that. Your mum says you're a dab hand at fixing things, do you think you could make some sort of supports on this and some fixings?” Mathew tipped the chair forwards and examined the back, “I don't see why not, there's plenty of old oak at the back of the garage, all stuff left over from the renovations, ” and stood the chair back on its legs. “Let's have a look down here and see what we can find, ” and the two of them moved further towards the back and Mathew pointed to piles of wood propped in the corner. “Plenty of nice heavy lengths there” he said, pulling out a few lengths and laying them flat on the floor. “What else John”, “well we need some restraints Mat, what have you got?” Mathew rummaged through more stuff until John pointed to a pile of items on one of the shelves above some tables and chairs. That’s all things we didn’t sell at the last sale, they came from the stables up by the farm when it closed down.” “Pull some down will you, ” and he reached up and placed a load of old tack on the table. John unraveled the pile, reins, martingales and girths. “These are still lovely and supple, I’m sure we could make use of them, they look perfect. Well lad, I think we have everything we need if you could utilize them, I’ll show you a drawing that uncle gave me with his paperwork.” They placed the items by the door and returned to the kitchen and sat back down and John pulled out the paperwork and showed it to Mathew. “You can get an idea from the drawings, ideally we could do with several copies of these instructions to give to each member of the committee once we have chosen them.” “I could run them through the Xerox machine at work if you like, how many would you like?” “Probably only half a dozen, but maybe do a few extra if you can, but best if you don’t show them around.” “Understood, ” said Mathew, “I’ll have a read through them and put them somewhere safe and copy them Monday morning. Looking at that diagram, it looks like the chair will need a bit of sloping wood at the back of the seat to push the body forward, like you had the cushions last night, I’ll get that done as well.” “I knew you were the man for the job, do you think you could get it finished before Friday?” “ I’ll make a start today, John, anything else I can help you with?” “The other important thing, Mat, is who to invite onto the committee, got any ideas?” ”Well, there's one or two of the helpers that might be suitable, there's old Bill, he’s a widower but had a reputation as a real disciplinarian according to dad and I think Jim might be a candidate.” “Yes I’ve met Bill, you could be right but Jim, he’s a bit young isn’t he.” “I know he is a bit young John, but he is a bit of a loner, the mums at Sunday school are a bit wary of him and it is probably best to choose those without family commitments who can give you their full attention.” “So right” said John, "I'll consult your father and get his opinion, you've been more than helpful, I shall make sure that you are nominated, you will be a real asset”. “Thanks John, I'll go and make a start cleaning the chair up and have a read through the information, if you want to hang about, Dad will be back soon and you can go through it with him, leave the paperwork on top of the cupboard up there when I’ve read through it, then it will be handy to show dad as well. John waited for the minister to arrive and went through the detail in his uncle's paperwork and filled him in with Mathews suggestions as they went out to the garage and looked at the items they had selected.”Looks like you have everything in hand John, I’ll have a chat with Jim and Bill tomorrow after the service and I’ll pop round to Mark’s house and tell him what progress we have made with the plans for helping his daughter. I’m sure he will accept a place on the committee as well. John couldn't believe his luck on how everything was falling into place, just the members to sort out and the chair to finish and he would be ready to put his plan into place and he couldn’t wait to see her presented to an audience while the members rid her of her demons. He couldn’t resist visiting the Sunday school the next morning and watching her sitting trying not to look at him and neither was he surprised to see Mat turn up to add to her discomfort. He was pleased to see a full house in the morning service and watched Bill and JIm as they moved about the congregation with the collection plate noting how they lingered at certain places and who they looked at. He was sure Mat had made a good choice but had to wait until the service finished and the minister invited them up to the house to show them the paperwork and explain the necessity for forming a committee and as he watched from the side of the room, he couldn’t help but notice how Jim lingered over certain sections before passing them on to Bill, who grunted approval to nearly every paragraph before gathering the papers up and passing them back to the minister declaring, ”something needs to be about this generation, for Christ's sake, there's no Godliness in the world today. In my time, you respected your elders and they ruled by the rod, it’s time something was done about it minister, I shall gladly assist you. Jim declared his full agreement with the sentiment and asked how soon they could start work and the minister explained about Friday nights event and Bill piped up about he knew how hard Mark was finding it and he was only too pleased to help. The meeting was closed with the minister explaining he would be in touch in a couple of days to give them copies of John’s paperwork and speak to Mark to arrange a suitable starting time. He left the room and walked out the back to the garage where he could hear Mat working on the chair. He stepped through the door and greeted him as his face lit up with the pleasure of seeing what progress he made. The chair was transformed, a long substantial rail had been attached to the top of the high back, It stretched out about three feet on each side, another thick round dowel was fixed behind the chair at the level of the seat and sloping section had been added about a third of the way up the back that would force the body out to the edge of the chair. He was busy nailing a thick section of carpet to the back with brass upholstery nails and the ends of the top rail and the rear of the back had heavy galvanised screw-in eye hooks for attaching the restraints. “Hello John, ” said Mathew, looking up seeing John's obvious delight at his work, nearly finished, I’ll have time to give it a coat of paint in about an hour, so it should be dry for the morning and I won’t have to worry about having the time to finish it after work.” “That's wonderful Mat, absolutely perfect as he imagined Sammy secured tightly in its grip, exposed and positioned perfectly for his attention. My word, you have excelled yourself, I couldn’t imagine it would look so perfect.” “Well seeing its purpose the other night gave me all the information I needed to make it suitable for the job John, shame we can’t give it a trial run, but Friday will be here soon enough.” “Indeed it will, I can’t thank you enough, has the minister seen it yet?” “No. I thought I would leave it until it was painted and show him in the morning and perhaps see if he can get the others to pop in during the week so that they can see it and perhaps suggest different applications we could employ on the night.” “Well done again Mat, I can’t wait, what happened about the restraints?” “No need to worry about those John. mum has them soaking in saddle soap and she's making sure all the buckles are functioning properly.” “Then we just need to arrange the room. How about if I pop over after you finish work and we can give it a dry run and arrange the seating?” “Perfect, John, I should be home and finished by about six.” “See you then, and thank you once again, it's brilliant.” Sleep didn’t come easily for John, the image of the chair, the possibilities, he imagined his hard penis wrapped in a condom liberally coated with Tiger Balm as a lubricant being fed it into the tight little opening, watching the expression as the rising heat started to show on her face as he fed it in deeper and deeper, holding her distended nipples to give him more purchase, savoring the moment, making it last as the heat built inside her until he gripped her with all the force he could muster until he exploded into the latex, the final satisfaction in accomplishing his dream, he would rest, watching the effect of the fire inside her and then starting the process of driving out the devil from those delicate parts. No wonder sleep evaded him and all too soon daylight signaled a new day, one day nearer. John tried to compose himself as he waited for Mathew to finish his dinner. At last they went outside and opened the garage door. The chair stood facing them, neat coils of shiny leather straps placed on the seat, the wood painted a dark green colour, perfect contrast to the pale skin, he thought. They both stood appreciating it before Mathew opened the door wide enough for them to lift it between them and carry it down to the side entrance and into the church. It only fitted in sideways, the long arms over their shoulders as they maneuvered across the aisle and into the side room. They placed it in front of the table as John shoved the upholstered chair against the wall and lifted the green work of art into center stage. He joined Mathew and they pulled up six of the wooden chairs and formed them in a curve a few feet away and both sat down. The view was perfect as John turned to Mathew, “ just imagine the view on Friday'.” “I am, “ he replied, “a bit different from last week, have you made a plan of how you will orchestrate the evening?” “I’m working on it, just wanted to see this in place and move a few things around. Let's pull that table over to the side and see if the light is better with the chair moved back a bit.” “It’s going to be quite dark outside John, do you think we need a bit more light?” “Yes. something directed straight at it, like stage lighting, we want everything visible, what do you think?” It’s a high ceiling, John, the lights in here are way too high and father watches the electric costs. We definitely need something better, I’ll see what I can sort out, I’m at work all week. Do you think you could pick up one of those halogen lights from the electric shop? I could put it on a long extension lead and hang it from the beam over our head” he said as he looked up. Dad has those long step ladders in the garage, he uses them to clean the top windows so they are bound to reach and I have a couple of those ring-eye screws left. I’ve got an extension lead which will reach the plug over there.” “Sounds perfect Mat, I'll see to it in the morning and leave it in here with the ladder if you like.” They both got up and John asked Mat to move the table with him over to one side. “There's plenty of room to work around the chair like that, can you think of anything else?” “Dad told me you like to give them corner time like it says in your paperwork, where's that going to happen?” “Lets see, needs to be viewed by everyone, why not just in front of the chair, she can look at it and contemplate her fate, I know it’s not a corner but it’s in full view and could serve a double purpose.” “I like that” he said “and have you decided who's going to do what, I mean who's going to secure her, it will take two?” I think you can have that pleasure Mat after all your hard work, but we must remember Mark might want to lend a hand or though he did let us show him the way last time, I better sound him out and see what part he wants to play. Plenty of time to sort the details out, I just want it to go like last time and get her secured and probably play it by ear after that. I’m going to talk with Bill and Jim tomorrow, neither of them work, so I’ll pop round and have a word and make sure they have an active part to play and make sure they're on side.” “Okay John, sounds good, I’ll see you tomorrow, and I might need a hand with fixing the light if that’s alright”. “ No problem, you get off Mat and thanks for all your good work, I’ll make sure you get your reward, I saw how you enjoyed last Friday”. “You can say that again, John, I never thought I would get the chance to see that little pussy again after the orchard do, never mind feel it and give it a good thrashing.” “You are doing the Lord’s work Mat, I see what I can do, come on we better get locked up and I better get home, alright.” A couple of days later I went over to Jim’s place. It was typical of a single man's house, not bad really, Mat said his mother had passed away and left it to him. It was fairly tidy, he showed me into the lounge and I gave him a copy of my uncle's paperwork that Mat had brought back from work the night before. He had another read through, obviously quite interested in the details and as he read I could see a couple of tatty Fiesta magazines and beer cans stuffed in under the coffee table. “What do you think, Jim, I asked when he finished reading?” “I’ve read of this sort of thing being practiced in the deep south churches in the States, ” he replied, “never thought it would come here. If you ask me, it sounds like a bloody good idea, women don’t know how to behave these days, what with all this woman's rights nonsense. No wonder the kids are running riot, sinners, all of them, right back to Eve just like the bible says and your uncle, he’s got it just right. No good going soft on them, you got to bring them up to respect the church and respect God, and if you ask me, that's what they need, a good thrashing to keep them in line.” “Couldn’t agree more Jim, so you're all up for being on the committee and doing the Lord's work?” “Damn right I am, time we put our foot down before the Devil has his way, there’s much evil in this world John and someone has to take a stand and drive it out, don't you think?” “ I do Jim and now's the time to take up the good fight and drive it out, so I expect to see you there six o’clock sharp and we'll make a stand with our brothers and fight the good fight Jim'' He nodded, “six o'clock, you can count on me.” I left it there knowing he would be a good disciple and traveled the short journey to Bill's house. It was neat and tidy, everything showed an orderly man lived here as he beckoned me in and offered me a coffee. We sat down and I gave his copy of the paperwork and he put to one side, “I’ll go through it again later” he said, “I haven’t forgotten the details, if you want my opinion, it’s not a moment too soon. I brought my kids up to be God fearing, none of this modern rubbish. They turned out to be fine ladies but one of their kids is a typical example of what society has become. Never goes to church, been caught smoking and drinking not to mention sleeping around. It’s time she was taken in hand, the Devil is everywhere John, we must be vigilant and do God's work.” “We must indeed, Bill and I’m counting on you with your wealth of experience to help me in this fight. I couldn’t do it without people like you Bill, I know I can count on you”. “I’ll be there, six o’clock, on the dot, and we will make a start. I’ll pray for you and for his guidance.” I thanked him and returned to the church and checked the room. It looked perfect, the new light hung from the ceiling pointing straight down at the chair, went over to the plug and switched it on. What a difference, every little detail will be illuminated I thought as I stood in front of the chair and imagined how clear it would be on Friday, and even the slightest sign of moisture would glisten in its powerful beam. Perfect, just perfect, none of them will miss the signs that Eve's curse is in her flesh. I went over to the desk and opened the drawer, I took out the leather strap and swung viciously through the air remembering where it had found its target just days before before folding it in half and slipping it into my pocket. I’m going to oil you tonight, I told it, I want you really supple for maximum effect.
